It is reported that following the nationwide influential health science phenomenon “Health Stand-Up Comedy,” under the guidance of the Municipal Health Commission, the Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Municipal Sports Bureau, and the Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, the “Amway ‘Health Stand-Up Comedy’ Night” grand performance was jointly hosted by the Municipal Health Promotion Committee Office, Shanghai Education Television, the Municipal Health Promotion Center, Health Cloud, and Xiaoguo Culture, with Amway (China) as the co-organizer! The first large-scale health science TV stand-up comedy program in China, “Health Stand-Up Comedy,” has transitioned from the “scorching” first season to the “explosive” second season, garnering over 2.2 billion views and ascending to become a nationwide phenomenon in health science popularization. It has been broadcast globally to the Chinese community through Phoenix TV and has received full affirmation from the Healthy China Action Promotion Office. As the first health stand-up comedy charity performance nationwide, this event assembled a stellar lineup of 17 science popularization stars from the first and second seasons of “Health Stand-Up Comedy,” known for their “explosive and show-stopping” performances— including renowned health science communicators like Xuan Beibei, Jin Jin, Deng Dan, and Hong Manhuai. Under the leadership of Zhou Jie, the host of “Health Stand-Up Comedy” on Shanghai Education Television, and Dai Hengwei, known as the “little Shen Teng of Shanghai’s science popularization scene” from the Shanghai Health Promotion Center, they divided into two major teams for a “Red vs. White” showdown. Batu’er, the “RAP artist” from Ruijin Hospital on the Red team, launched the first attack— the essence of health is “masterful medical skills and a miraculous tongue.” Meanwhile, Li Fangyuan, the champion of the second season also from Ruijin Hospital, engaged in a “love-hate rivalry” with Batu’er with a RAP that brought the house down: “Today, I’ll show everyone who is the real number one at Ruijin!”

Amidst the cheerful laughter and intense competitive atmosphere, the Shanghai Opera House was swept by a unique wave of sound. Yao Le and Li Jie, the beloved comedic duo of “Health Stand-Up Comedy,” even went as far as to “break up their partnership” on stage, eliciting waves of applause and laughter that repeatedly pushed the real-time decibel meter to new highs. Tang Kangmin, a former top-five finalist on “China’s Got Talent” and a teacher at the Acupuncture and Moxibustion College of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, brought the nearly lost traditional instrument, the “mouth harp,” to the stage of the Shanghai Opera House. This multi-talented young female postdoctoral researcher, who juggles clinical research, traditional Chinese medicine inheritance, and health science popularization, had just been promoted to associate professor while busily preparing for the performance: “I want to fully enjoy this stage to bring more joy to the audience.”
